Pimp my Crime, short film, Kino Berlino 2018

A notorious contemporary artist, who is also a serial killer, is interviewed by an independent journalist for her show "Pimp my Crime". How will it end? The journalist, obsessed by criminals, tries to justify their actions by their background; thus freeing herself from her own unhappy childhood. But for the killer, is it not just an obsession he calls art.

The scene parodies the interview of a contemporary artist, in a relationship where the issue is a question of life or death. The film begins in a black comedy setting and quickly turns into a drama.

I directed this ambitious challenge at Kino Berlino, a short film that of course had to be readjusted at the last minute according to the means and places available.
