Alceste Dupont confides to the public the abstruse events that made him aware of his chronic silliness. Through his research, he draws a wild sociological picture of our civilization and tells us the story of stupidity, since the dawn of time.
The show relies on a rich and subtle writing, associated with an affirmed visual language. It lampoons the received stereotypes, slyly oscillating between an existentialist one man show, a philosophical tale not really moralistic or a sociological joke of a humanity in evolution.
The show was created with the support of the Theatre de Ménilmontant (Paris) and the Theatre Blanche de Castille (Poissy).
